Destination Chocolat
A gourmet and poetic stopover in the center of Paris, designed as an invitation to travel around the world of cocoa, the ultimate traveling product.

STORIES is once again collaborating with pastry chef Nina Métayer to create “Destination Chocolat,” a pop-up space inspired by her experiences abroad, particularly in Mexico. Cocoa, the common thread running through the project, resonates with her own journey, enriched by discoveries and encounters.

The railway world serves as a backdrop: a central wooden structure evokes a mail car, symbolizing correspondence and movement. The warm atmosphere is based on natural materials, red and coral tones, and display cases integrated like traditional furniture.
A wire structure lightens the overall effect while creating visual continuity with the department store environment. The space, which can be completely dismantled, is designed for mobility.

The project pays tribute to craftsmanship through collaborations with artisans from La Rochelle, and punctuates the space with references to Parisian architecture and the Art Deco spirit, such as a card carousel inspired by Morris Columns.
Every detail contributes to a calm and comforting atmosphere, where cocoa is celebrated in all its cultural and sensory richness.
